From Call of Duty to GTA RP

Of course, some of you may have noticed that my content has moved away from Call of Duty and is now more focussed on GTA Roleplay. I wanted to shed a little light on why and what this means. Call of Duty As we are all quite aware, COD has been more often than not, a broken game. From server side issues and the random disconnects to the changes in automated monitoring systems that are overkill. The content that I put out there purely relies on interactions with others as I am a self confessed average player, watching me play COD would be very uneventful! The AI changes and ban hammer being heavy has led to a significant reduction in exchanges that are possible. More recently, I played for 8 hours straight and had ONE lobby that would be talking (even in Search!).

The changes in COD are one thing. The changes in how Tiktok view COD content is also another reason for lessening the content that I put out there. The difference in views and engagement since starting has been huge - typically they are around 10-20% of what they were when I started.

GTA Roleplay

The GTA scene, however, has opened up so many more possibilities in regard to content creation and opportunities. I have also grown to really enjoy the game and the experience as the whole rationale is to have interactions and make them fun. To keep you updated - I now play on Unique RP which is one of the more well known UK servers. Since joining this my twitch has grown over 400% which has been overwhelming. This growth does come with thanks to (1) Tyrone - Twitch (1) KavsuaL - Twitch and (1) harriettcxo - Twitch mainly but the Unique community has shown that it welcomes all with open arms and strives for fun roleplay experiences.

So why GTA RP?

If I am being totally honest with you I have fallen in love with it. I feel it is something I am good at and the Roleplay community are one of the most welcoming bunch I have ever met. I have grown to enjoy creating stories in Michael Whitberry style with the same ounce of humour and sass.

Here is the honest part. My mental health has suffered quite significantly over the past few months. You all know that I am a firm believer in openess and honesty in regard to mental health so here it is. The GTA RP scene is a wonderful distraction from the chaos of my mind and is helping significantly.

I invite you all along for the journey as my fellow COD friends and RP friends are always welcome. I appreciate you all as always <3

It’s amazing what most times positive things happen when in GTA RP! Like you. Im forever grateful for finding it almost 4 years ago. It has been a welcoming distraction but also too good of one until I felt the burnout! I have the most amazing friends outside of this platform! And I met so many amazing people just being apart of Harriett’s stream! Her stories can relate a lot, and it definitely helped! (I want to be like her when I grow up, chuckles.). Thank you as well for bringing the grandad side of RP to us as well! You have done an amazing job at that role, and I cannot wait to see what is in store next and how your story unfolds. Here’s to many, many more great scenes and stories to come!!

You do such a good job for Harriet and your contribution is just wonderful! I have never done this side of RP as my experience is very limited but I am thoroughly enjoying it. In a world where we have no idea what is round the corner, who knows what is coming next. Appreciate you <3
